The auction will be held in two sessions on 4 and 5 May 2024 on www.bertolamifineart.cz
Session I: Saturday, 4 May from 2 p.m. CEST - Lots 1 to 449
Session II: Sunday, 5 May from 2 p.m. CEST - Lots 450 to 980

1. How to participate 
   You may participate in one of the following ways: online after registering on our website www.bertolamifineart.cz, or by written offer.
   a. Live participation via our website
   You can place your bids during the auction by registering on our website www.bertolamifineart.cz.
   IMPORTANT
   
   The registration process is only complete once you have entered the copies of the identity documents required by the operating system and a validation message has been sent by our staff.
   If you are unable to enter the documents or have not yet received the validation message, we are here to help you.

   b. Participation by written offer
   You may also submit your bids in writing by filling in the appropriate proxy bid form.
   Written bids must be sent to the e-mail address info@bertolamifineart.cz no later than 1 p.m. on Saturday 4 May for lots 1-449 and no later than 1 p.m. on Sunday 5 May for lots 450-980
   The written bid shall be deemed to authorise the auctioneer to make bids on behalf of the signatory.
   
   
   
2. Pre-auction bids
   You may place your pre-auction bids :
   a. online on  www.bertolamifineart.cz until 1 p.m. on Saturday 4 May for lots 1-449 and until 1 p.m. on Sunday 5 May for lots 450-980.
   b. BidInside, Sixbid, Numisbids, Numis24 until 10 a.m. on Saturday 4 May for lots 1-449 and until 10 a.m. on Sunday 5 May for lots 450-980.
   c. by submitting written bids as per point b of paragraph 1.
   The minimum bid for each lot is the starting price shown in our website. The minimum bid for each lot is the starting price shown in our website.
   
   In the event of:
   - One single pre-auction bid on a lot
   In the absence of bids during the auction, the lot will be awarded at the starting bid even if the sole bid received is higher (the amount of the pre-auction bid indicates the maximum bid the bidder is willing to place. Example: Starting bid € 1,000 – Single pre-sale bid € 1,500 – Award at € 1,000
   - Multiple pre-auction bids of the same amount on the same lot
   If no bids are raised during the auction, the lot will be awarded to the earlier bidder.
   - Multiple pre-auction bids of different amounts on the same lot
   If there are no bids during the auction, the lot will be awarded to the highest bidder. The hammer price is calculated by adding to the amount of the next lowest bid an increment set out in the table below.
   Example: customer A bid € 1,200 - customer B bid € 1,800. Customer B does not win at the award price of € 1,800 but at € 1,300. In other words, the automatic increase of € 100 provided for in the table is applied to the amount of the next lowest bid when the bids are within the € 1,000-1,999 bracket.
   
   
3. Payment methods
   The purchasers of the winning lots will be able to choose between the following payment options:
   - for previous customers only: bank cheque or cashier’s check in favour of Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o(please note that, in case of payment by foreign cheque, 10 € will be added to the invoice amount);
   - credit card;
   - Paypal;
   - wire bank transfers may be made to Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o. with surcharge of € 10 for outside EU;
   - cash (up to legal limit);
   
   Please note: invoices paid by cheque, cash or bank transfer are exempt from the 3.5% of administration fees.
   
   Payment of purchased items must be made within 5 days from receipt of the invoice. If the invoice hasn’t been paid within 30 days following adjudication, the purchaser will be charged a penalty of 1%/month on the amount of the unpaid invoice.
   
   
4. Auction fees
   The purchaser shall pay Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o. an auction fee equal to 20% of the hammer price of each lot. All lots purchased on our Live-bidding system are NOT subject to other increments.
   
   
5. Additional costs
   Shipping costs and possible additional customs duties are to be borne by the buyer. In the event that, due to unjustified complaints, the goods should be returned to Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o., shipping costs and possible custom duties customs duties shall be incurred by the customer.
   
   
6. Conditions of sale
   The Conditions of Sale that govern the relationship between Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o. and the customers taking part in the auctions are displayed in each catalogue. Since said Conditions shall be deemed automatically accepted from the moment you participate in the auction, please read them carefully.
   In case of discrepancy between the Conditions of Sale published in the printed or pdf catalogue and the version that appears in the online catalogue, the online version shall prevail.
   
   
7. Authenticity
   All coins offered for sale are guaranteed as authentic for life by Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o, and covered by Lloyd's Errors & Omissions insurance policy.
   
   
8. Description of lots
   Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o. is exempt from any liability with regard to descriptions and evaluations of lots in the catalogue, condition reports or any other illustrative material. Such descriptions are purely indicative and only represent a personal opinion provided by our experts.
   
9. Publication of auction results
   The auction results will be published by Bertolami Fine Art S.r.o. on its website for information purposes only, within ten (10) days of the closing date.
