ΑΚΡΑ-ΓΑΝΤΙ-ΝΟ-Ν, two eagles standing r. on dead hare, the nearer with closed wings and its head thrown back screaming in triumph, the further with wings open and head turned down, tearing at its prey with its beak; Rv. Crab with Α between its claws; below, grouper (polyprium cerium), with open jaws, swimming to right. Buceti 175; SNG Lloyd 829; Jameson 516; SNG Lockett 719. Refined style. Sharply struck. Extremely rare. Minimal traces of cleaning; some oxidation; metal somewhat crystallised. Good extremely fine.
