Amphipolis, c.ca 288/7-282/1 BC. Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right with horn of Ammon over his ear; Rv. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated l., holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right hand and leaning with her left arm on shield decorated with lion's head; in inner left field, kerykeion with handle to inner left; to outer right, monogram of KA. Müller 107; Thompson 198. Good very fine / near extremely fine.
