Salamis mint. Struck under Philip III (323-317 BC), c.ca 323-315 BC. Head of Athena to r., wearing triple-crested Corinthian helmet decorated with coiled serpent, pendant earring and necklace; Rv. Nike standing to l., holding wreath and stylis; ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ in r. field, rudder in left field. Price 3149; Müller 632. Extremely fine.
