Diademed head of nymph to r.; to left, Artemis running right, holding torch; XAPI below; Rv. [NE]ΟΠΟΛITH[Σ], man-headed bull walking r.; above, Nike flying r., placing wreath on bull's head; ΔΙ monogram below. Sambon -; HNItaly 579; SNG Copenhagen - (cfr. 419); SNG ANS - (cfr. 354). Very rare variant. Traces of ancient mechanical removal of oxidation. Fields gently smoothed. Curls (obverse), bull's head and Nike (reverse) probably tooled, otherwise good extremely fine. Refined style.
